Was originally cursed with the spirit of a deceased warlord, it has since been dispelled, allowing him the staff's interesting enchantment: It is able to reflect for the most part anything if Simon chooses for it to do so, be it physical, magical, or similar energy. He can choose whether or not for it to be reflected with the same force, or double the force. However it is still somewhat unpredictable for him to use - accidentally miscalculating and say, hitting the ground, will launch him into the air, whether on purpose or not.
